I would want to dapple in music but my efforts today were not very fruitful and resulted mostly in crashing applications and people telling me I need a real-time kernel. As the result I found myself pondering booting into Microsoft Windows in order to try that there. It was the first time for ages I wanted MS Win for something else than games. Certainty there must be something I can do on Linux to find out if I want to try dabbling in music more? Currently it feels Linux is less suited for making music than Commodore 64 was, and that cannot be, right?

Now I have made another paper wallet.

I learned that thicker paper is not necessarily better: it will fold less flat and unlocking the locked cards is more hassle. Width of the paper is very important: if you have too wide wallet with too short flaps the 'locked in' cards will just weasel their way out of their compartments.

Update: Now, 4 months of daily use later it is starting to need a replacement. Quite good, huh?

If you use GTD, do you do what you want to do, keeping your next actions and projects in mind? Or do you try to only do the things that are in your system?

I think latter can work well if you allow some vague projects like "have fun with the spouse". Currently I still have some things I do from outside the system but I'm aiming to have at least a vague someday-maybe project for even the really spontagneous things.

When I was a kid drawing was a popular hobby. Has digital photography become a substitute for that for adults and kids alike?
